Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * Apples, fresh, 2 medium, chopped
    * Granulated Sugar, 3 tsp
    * 2 cups Blackberries (unsweetened), thawed
    * 1 tsp cornstarch
    * 1/2 cup water
    Optional Spices ~ 1 Tsp cinnamon, dash of Pumpkin Spice
    _________Topping______
    * 1/4 c. Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain,
    * 1 Tbsp Smart Balance, Smart Balance Omega Plus Buttery Spread
    * 1/4 c. Raw Sunflower Seeds
    *1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Add chopped apples, water, sugar to a pot. Boil. Add corn syrup, and mix well. Let boil, until the liquid is syrupy. Add in blackberries. When they are thawed, pour mixture into a baking dish. (I used a square Pyrex dish.)
In a separate bowl, melt 1 TBS Smart Balance. Add oatmeal, cinnamon and sunflower seeds. Blend well. Pour in spoonfuls over the blackberry mixture.
Bake in oven @ 375 for
