    1/2 pound sweet potatoes, cut into 1/4" thick strips

    1/2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
    1/8 tsp garlic powder
    1/8 tsp paprika
    1/8 tsp cayenne
    pinch of black pepper
    ketchup (optional)


Preheat oven to 450 F

In a medium bowl, toss the potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.

Place the potatoes in a single layer on a medium nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Flip the potatoes and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and browned in spots. Serve immediately, with ketchip, if desired.

I don't like the texture of a baked sweet potato. The texture of these fries is in comparison to any other "regular" fry!
