Introduction

A quick cobbler that can be made with any fruit and even sweet potatoes or crushed pineapple. A quick cobbler that can be made with any fruit and even sweet potatoes or crushed pineapple.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 cup water
    3/4 stick butter
    1 can apple pie filling

Directions

Melt butter in oven safe dish
Mix flour and sugar together; add water and stir and pour into melted butter. Do not stir.
Add apple pie filling. Do not stir.
Bake about 50 minutes at 400 degrees Farenheit until crust is golden brown.
Makes about 8 1/2 cup servings.

    3/4 butter made it overly salty. I put just a small square of butter. My husband enjoyed it when I did it with less butter. - 3/2/10
