Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked brown rice (app 3 cups cooked)
    1 cup uncooked lentils
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp onion powder
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    dash cayenne(optional)

Directions

Cook brown rice and lentils according to package directions, omitting any salt or fat suggested.

Drain lentils well. Add lentils and rice to food processor and add other ingredients. Blend till relatively smooth.
Refrigerate at least four hours.

Spray a pan with non stick spray. I sometimes add 1 tsp of oil or so as well.
Form burgers into thin patties and cook till brown on both sides.

Serve plain or on a whole wheat hamburger bun with all the fixins'!

These are very yummy! Even the carnivores in my family enjoy them!
