Introduction
A quick, creamy banana smoothie makes a great power snack! I also like to have it for breakfast. A quick, creamy banana smoothie makes a great power snack! I also like to have it for breakfast.Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 banana
- 4 oz milk (about half a glass) - i have used full fat cow's milk but you can use any kind of milk - it'll just change the level of creaminess a little
Directions
Makes roughly one glassful
1. Peel banana and place it in a large bowl (although i now prefer to use a tall fat plastic jug to avoid getting splattered when blending).
2. Take a stick blender and blend the banana until it's very gooey, but slightly lumpy.
3. Add milk. Blend the milk and banana mixture until it has reached the consistencey you like. (I usually blend for atleast an additional minute so that it's nice and frothy!)
4. Pour into glass, mix briefly with spoon and enjoy.
NOTE: This can be made without a blender or smoothie-maker, but it takes ages to make and will be rather lumpy... not that that's a bad thing...
