Introduction

This is a great recipe for those of us that love chili but would rather not pick out the stewed tomatoes. This is a great recipe for those of us that love chili but would rather not pick out the stewed tomatoes.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 lbs. lean ground beef
    2 green bell peppers (chopped)
    1 medium yellow onion (chopped)
    1 large can of tomato juice (low sodium)
    1 large or 3 small cans of chili beans in mild sauce
    A dash of red pepper flakes
    A good helping of Chili Powder (to taste)
    A tsp or so of cayenne pepper (again- to taste)

Directions

Cook the beef, then add to crock pot

Chop the veggies, then add to crockpot

Add cans of Chili beans and can of tomato juice

Add final seasoning and leave to cook for 5-6 hours on low heat.

Serving Size is about 1/2 cup
