Ingredients
-
1 can baked beans
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can baby butter beans, drained
1 lb Turkey Bacon, cooked and chopped
1 lb ground beef, cooked
1 large onion (chopped)
1/2 cup Splenda
1/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1/2 cup Ketchup
Directions
1. Cook ground beef.
2. Cook bacon.
3. Preheat oven to 375*.
4. In casserole dish, mix together beans, meats, onion, sugars and ketchup.
5. Bake casserole for 1 hour at 375*.
The original recipe calls for regular bacon (I use turkey bacon), 1 cup of sugar (I use 1/2 cup of Splenda), and 1 cup of brown sugar (I use 1/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar Blend). I think the original is too sweet and too fatty with the regular bacon. This modified version is soooooo perfect!!
