1 pound (package) of ground turkey or chicken
1 - 6 ounce can of tomato paste
    1 small onion - chopped
    Crushed red pepper to taste
2 to 3 handfuls of dry spaghetti - cooked

    Ketchup to taste.

Makes a full medium roaster of spaghetti which is approximately 8 cups. Definately enough for a family of 4.

Brown chicken and onions in frying pan until cooked.

Cook spaghetti. I have medium sized hands and I reach into the spaghetti box and grab 2 handfuls of spaghetti which makes approximately 8 cups cooked.

In a medium roaster combine the ground chicken, spaghetti and tomato paste. Since the tomato paste is so thick you have to really mix it up well or you will have clumps of pure paste in your spaghetti.

Add as much crushed red pepper as you like. I use approximately 1 to 2 tablespoons. DO NOT USE GROUND CAYENNE PEPPER rather use the red pepper flakes.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

The most important part of this recipe is to add ketchup to taste after it has been cooked. The ketchup brings a touch of sweetness and seems to bring out the flavour of the pepper.

The recipe is OK without the ketchup but is absolutely fabulous with it. Trust me. I have made this for friends and they could not believe the difference the ketchup made.
