A flavorful Chili with just a little spice A flavorful Chili with just a little spice
Number of Servings: 7


    1 1/2 lb ground beef (93%)
    1 1/2 cups diced onion
    1 cup diced celery
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1 clove garlic, cut fine
    2 cups canned tomatoes
    1-2 Tbsp chili powder
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp worcestershire sauce
    2- 4 cups canned pinto or red kidney beans


Brown ground beef.
Add onion, celery, green pepper, and garlic.
Cook unitl partially tender.
Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt , sugar, and worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boil. Cover and simmer about 1 hour.
Add beans and heat well.

For very hot chili, season with a speck of cayenne pepper to taste.
Shredded cheddar cheese on top tastes good.
