    4 chicken breasts, halved
    6 Tbsp oil or margarin, divided
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp paprika
    1lb mushrooms, sliced
    4 Tbsp flour
    2-2 1/2 cups chicken broth
    1/2 tsp rosemary
    1 cup dry sherry
    2 cans artichoke hearts


In skillet brown chicken in 4 Tbsp oil with salt, pepper and paprika. Place chicken in casserole saving juices. In same skillet, saute mushrooms until tender; add to casserole. Add remaining oil to skillet and blend in flour. Add broth stirring until smooth and thick. Add rosemary and sherry. Drain hearts and place one on each chicken breast. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake covered 35 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 8.
