Introduction
A simple, low-calorie dessert with just 4 ingredients! A simple, low-calorie dessert with just 4 ingredients!Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1/2 medium banana
1/2 tbsp of honey
dash of cinnamon
1/4 cup of frozen yogurt
Directions
The recipe with 1/2 banana makes an individual serving. I use 1 banana to make dessert for me and my sweetie.
Put 1/2 banana into a bowl and pour honey on top. Sprinkle the cinnamon and cook the banana+honey+cinnamon in the microwave for about 1 minute or until soft (if you are doing 2 servings, you will need about 1 minute and 1/2).
The water from the banana will make a watery syrup with the honey. Add the frozen yogurt on top of the warm banana+syrup and enjoy.
This is delicious comfort food, for just 150 calories. And it takes less than 3 minutes - including prep work, cooking, and serving.

I was skeptical about how good this would be because of how simple the recipe is, but all the ratings had me curious... and it really is as good as everyone is saying!!! I could not believe how delicious this turned out! I used chocolate ice cream since I didn't have any frozen yogurt. So good. - 1/31/09

Delicious for something so simple and low in calories. This has become my go-to snack whenever I'm craving dessert. Thanks for posting it.
For others: I've noticed it's important to make sure the bananas are fully ripe. I also like adding just a few chopped peanuts for some crunch and flavour. - 11/23/09

This was very good tasting. I took away one star because putting the yogurt on the banana/honey mixture, right after coming out of the microwave, melted the frozen yogurt almost immediately. I made it again the following night and I waited a few minutes before adding the frozen yogurt. Better! - 5/28/19

This is just ok, that serving size is a joke though, I mean, why go to the trouble if you have to wrap up the other half of a banana, that just gets brown? Silly recipe, fix the whole banana or have nothing, too cutesy recipe, make for chicks, I guess. My husband laughed at the little bowl. - 11/10/14

Will have to give it a shot, with all the positive comments. I STILL don't like when the photo doesn't even come CLOSE to the actual recipe. I don't know WHAT this photo is, but it's not what was made. - 5/23/14

Hi Gingervista, I didn't add a photo. Someone else did. Maybe it was Sparkpeople? I agree it doesn't look like the real thing.
