Ingredients

    2 Tbsp butter
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    6 pork chops
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    4 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
    1 cup water
    3 Tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
    1/4 tsp cloves

Directions

Melt butter in large skillet; add onions and saute until tender. With slotted spoon remove onion and set aside. In same skillet, brown pork chops on both sides; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange chops in 9x13 baking dish and cover with apple slices. Sprinkle with onion. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
