Introduction

Quick cook beef barley soup! Quick cook beef barley soup!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3 cup quick cook, barley, pearled
    2 packages (about 400 g) mushrooms
    4 32 oz. cartons of Beef Broth OR you can use 16 cups of water and 4-6 bouillon cubes
    4 carrots
    2 smal bags of frozen mixed vegetables
    20 oz. beef, round steak
    4 medium (600 grams) potatoes

Directions

1) Pour beef broth into a large pot. Add frozen veggies and sliced mushrooms.

2) Cut potatoes, carrots, and meat into bite size pieces and add to pot.

3) Bring water to a boil and reduce heat to low and cover.

3) After about 40 minutes add 3 cups of quick cook barley.

4) Cook until all vegetables are soft.
