    9 pieces of whole grain lasagna
    15 oz carton of part-skim ricotta
    1 large egg
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp dried basil
    4 oz mozzarella
    2.5 cups Newman's own marinara


Prepare lasagna noodles according to package directions. In a medium bowl, beat the egg and mix well with ricotta, garlic, oregano, and basil.

When noodles are cooked, rinse well with cold water and drain.

Meanwhile, spread a small amount of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 15 x 9 Pyrex baking dish. Spread 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread half the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles. Then spread 1/3 of the marinara on top of the noodles. Create another layer of noodles, the remaining ricotta, and another 1/3 of the sauce. Layer on the last three noodles and the remaining sauce, then top with the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for about half an hour or until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.
