    1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
    2 tbs olive oil
    3 large red peppers, chopped
    2 large green peppers, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped
    10 medium tomatoes, chopped
    16 cups beef broth
    4 cups of water
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 tbs parsley, dried
    1 7.75 oz can El Pato Tomato Sauce
    1 cup uncooked long grain rice


In a large skillet brown the ground beef and drain off all the fat.
In a large soup pot lightly saute the chopped onions, peppers, and cabbage in the olive oil.
Add in the uncooked rice, garlic powder, pepper, and parsley - Mix well to coat the rice with the oil.
Add the beef broth and the browned ground beef.
Bring to a boil and cook until the rice is tender.
Add the chopped fresh tomatoes and the tomato sauce.
Simmer for at least 15 minutes.

Makes 30 approximately 1 cup servings.
