    Beef, round steak, about 1 1/2lbs (I used 24oz), cubed and fat trimmed
    1 med-lg onion (I used 238g)
    1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
    1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis
    1 can green chilis
    2 T minced garlic
    1/2 teas salt
    2 teas cumin
    2-3 teas chili powder
    1/4 teas red pepper dried
    1 teas worcestershire sauce


Cut Beef into 1in or smaller cubes. Brown in heavy pot over med-med high heat. After browning, add chopped onion. Saute until soft, add garlic, saute another minute. Add spices, beans, broth, all remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, lower heat, cover, simmer 1 1/2hours. Makes 9 1-cup servings.
