    1 package (16 oz) bow-tie pasta
    1 medium (2.25 lbs) butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 package frozen peas
    3/4 cup half-and-half
    3 tsp sage
    1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste


Cook pasta, drain.

Meanwhile, place squash chunks into 2-3 quart microwave-safe baking dish. Cover and cook in microwave on high, 12 min.

Stir peas, half-and-half, and sage into squash and cook, uncovered, for 2 min.

In large serving bowl, toss pasta with squash mixture, Parmesan, and salt and pepper.
