Introduction

big bowl of the red stuff, mmm great for a cold night :) big bowl of the red stuff, mmm great for a cold night :)
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 oz can of tomato paste
    8 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles
    8 oz tomato sauce
    cooked diced onions ('til opaque)
    cooked ground beef (or any lean meats)
    3 cups tap water (use 2 for thicker chili)
    2 8 oz cans RINSED red kidney beans
    package of chili seasoning (I don't like a lot of spice, so i used 1/2)

Directions

* I use a slow cooker but a dutch oven over medium-medium high heat will work!
cook beef, add to pot
cook onion, add to pot
add in all other ingredients except the beans
cook in slow cooker on high setting for 1 & 1/2 hrs
add RINSED beans, leave on high for another 1/2 hr
eat :)
*you can leave the everything but the beans cooking all day on LOW in your slow cooker, you may need to add some water (still add beans 1/2 hr before your ready to eat) **I don't advise leaving your stovetop on all day...
