Introduction

This is a great snack dip or spread. Eat it with carrots or other raw vegetables as a dip, or use as a spread on bread, etc. This is a great snack dip or spread. Eat it with carrots or other raw vegetables as a dip, or use as a spread on bread, etc.

Ingredients

    1 Can of Chickpeas, drained and rinsed.
    1 Sweet red pepper.
    0.5 Tub of fat free Cottage cheese.
    Lemon juice to taste.
    0.5 Teaspoon of Paprika.
    1 Clove of Garlic

Directions

1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Place in a food processor.
2. It is optional to singe and remove the skin of the red pepper, but I often just deseed it and add it as is in with the chickpeas.
3. Add the cottage cheese, paprika, garlic and lemon juice. Process till smooth.
4. Add some water if it is too thick.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
