    1 pkg frozen broccoli
    1 can low sodium fat free chicken broth
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp corn starch (pre-mixed with water)
    1/4 cup half & half (use fat free for even less fat)
    2 Tbls shredded parmesan


Place all ingredients except for half and half and parmesan cheese in sauce pan. Cook on medium for about 10 minutes or until broccoli is cooked through but still bright green.

Add cornstarch and stir. Raise heat til starts to boil then bring temp down to low and add half and half. Simmer for a few more minutes.

Then pour into bowls and top with parmesan. Serve right away.
