Ingredients

1 jar Newmans Marinara Pasta Sauce
1.25 lbs extra lean ground beef
    1 large onion
2 zucchini, halfed and cut in 1/2 inch chunks
    1 lb mushrooms, sliced
6 oz whole wheat spaghetti, thin
    garlic powder, to taste

Directions

Cook spaghetti according to instructions on box in a medium to large pot. While the water heats for the pasta, brown the ground beef in a large to extra large pot, and cut up the veggies. Once the beef is cooked through, drain off excess fat and water. Add vegetables and sauce ( and garlic if desired) to the meat and stir well. Turn the heat to medium and cover sauce mixture. Stirring occasionally, cook until onions are translucent and zucchini is easily pierced by a fork. When pasta is cooked to desired tenderness, drain it and stir it into the sauce. Makes six servings, approx 1 1/2 cups.
