Ingredients

    2 cups fat free half and half
    3 cloves garlic minced
    1tbsp olive oil
    1/2 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 cup grated reduced fat parmesan cheese
    1/2 pkg. whole wheat spaghetti
    1 cup sliced mushrooms (or more if you prefer)
    1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    2 tsp basil

Directions

Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain and set aside.
In saute' pan add olive oil and garlic. Saute' for 1 - 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and basil. Saute' until mushrooms are soft.
Add half and half. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let boil about 5 minutes.
Add tomato paste and stir until well blended.
Stir in pasta until well coated. Add parmesan cheese and mix well. Cook until desired consistancy. Serve and garnish with parsley
