    1/4 c dried cherries
    1/4 c splenda brown sugar blend
    1/4 c chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    pinch nutmeg
    6 gala apples
    1/2 c apple cider
    3 Tbs butter cut into 6 pats
    1/2 c sugar free maple flavored syrup


In a large bowl, mix together cherries, splenda, pecans, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Put aside.
With a melon scooper, core apples to hollow out the middle. Do not go all the way through. Fill each apple core with dry cherry mix.
Pout apple cider into casserole dish and place apples right side up. Place a pat of butter on apple hole filled with mixture. Drizzle syrup on top of all the apples. Bake for 50 minutes at 350.
