    a half a cup of slivered almonds
    1 tbsp of unsalted butter
    2 cans of cut green beans
    1 can of cream of mushroom soup


In a 3 quart sauce pan saute the almonds in the butter until lightly browned, then add the green beans (drain the juice from one and save the juice from the other to act as the liquid for the soup). Then add the cream of mushroom soup, stir and let boil until it is heated through. Makes 8 1 cup servings.
