Ingredients

    Apricots, dried, 1.5 cup, halves (remove)
    Prunes, dried, 1.5 cup, pitted (remove)
    Oranges, 1 large (3-1/16" dia) (remove)
    Lemons, 1 fruit without seeds (remove)
    Red Wine, 16 fl oz (remove)
    Apple juice, unsweetened, 2 cup (remove)
    Apples, fresh, 2 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l (remove)
    Honey, .25 cup (remove)
    5 cloves
    .5 tsp nutmeg
    .5 tsp cinnamon

Directions

combine all ingredients except apples and honey in saucepan, bring to boil over medium heat, reduce, partially cover, simmer for 30 minutes. remove from heat and stir in apples and honey. cool, and chill until 1 hour before serving time, serve at room temp.
