    93% Lean Ground Beef, 16 oz
    Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Soy sauce (shoyu), low sodium, 6 tbsp
    Brown Sugar, 4 tsp brownulated
    Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz)
    salt and pepper to taste


Brown hamburger meat and chopped onion until hamburger is no longer pink and set aside. Pour boiling water over uncooked rice in a 2-3 qt. casserole dish. Add in cream of mushroom soup; stir until it is dissolved with water and rice. Next add soy sauce and brown sugar, stir again. Next, add hamburger meat and onion and mix well. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
