Ingredients

    1 C Buttermilk
    1 T Cornstarch
    1/4 t Artificial sweetner (I use Splenda)
    2 T Dijon Mustard
    2 T Mayo-reduced fat
    1/4 t Salt
    2 t Poppy Seeds

Directions

Pour half of buttermilk in small sauce pan. Add cornstarch and stir well until cornstarch is fully incorporated and no lumps. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbling (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat. Add remaining buttermilk, sweetener, mustard mayonnaise and salt. Stir well. Add poppy seeds, stir well and refrigerate for at least 1 hr before using.
