9 oz venison cubed into bite size
    1/4 Cup flour
    3/4 Cup milk (1%)
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp reduced fat sour cream
12 oz no yolk broad noodles
    1 whole bay leaf

Put venison and onion in a skillet. Toss with garlic powder. Stir fry without oil over relatively high heat until the meat is brown. Completely cover the meat with water. Add the bay leaf and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
You can do this step as often as you like. The longer it simmers uncovered the more tender the meat. As the water evaporates add more until you are ready to finish the meal.

Prepare the egg noodles per package.

Reduce the stock to about 1 1/2 cups of liquid. Remove bay leaf. Take 1/2 cup of stock and put in a separate dish. Add flour and mix until smooth. Add milk and stir. Slowly add the milk mixture to the meat consistantly stirring gently to thicken. When thickened, add sour cream. Serve meat sauce over egg noodles. Feeds 6.
