    1 lb peeled shrimp
    1 lb scallops
    1.5 cups half and half (I use fat free)
    1 cup white wine
    bunch of green onions chopped
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp butter
    2 or 3 cloves garlic chopped
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb pasta


place olive oil and butter in very large skillet, add onions and garlic and saute briefly, add wine, bring to a low boil and cook until reduced by half. Add basil, and half and half and sea food, simmer until reduced by 1/3. add cheese, salt and pepper. Serve over linguine or fettuccine.

This will serve 8 people well. Can easily be cut in half if need be. You can cut out the butter to reduce calories further but it does add something to the recipe. Fat free half and half works just as well as the regular and there does not seem to be a taste difference at all.
