    2 LB BONELESS BEEF CHUCK ROAST CUT INTO 1 INCH CUBES
    1 TSP SALT
    1 TBSP VEGETABLE OIL
    1 TBSP CHILI POWDER
    1 (6 OZ) CAN TOMATO PASTE
    2 C BEEF BROTH
    1 SMALL WHITE ONION
    1 (8 OZ) CAN TOMATO SAUCE
    1/2 MEDIUM GREEN BELL PEPPER
    1 TSP GROUND CUMIN
    1/2 TSP PEPPER
    FLOUR OR CORN TORTILLAS
    TOPPINGS: SHREDDED CHEESE AND SOUR CREAM

Directions

SPRINKLE BEEF WITH SALT
COOK BEEF IN BATCHES, IN HOT OIL OVER MEDIUM HIGH HEAT UNTIL BEEF IS BROWNED. REMOVE BEEF, RESERVING THE DRIPPINGS. A TBSP CHILI POWDER STIR AND COOK 1 MINUTE. STIR IN TOMATO PASTE STIR AND COOK 2 MINUTES. ADD 2 C BEEF BROTH . RETURN BEEF TO MIXTURE AND STIR.
PLACE BEEF MIXTURE IN SLOW COOKER. ADD ONION NAD NEXT 4 INGREDIENTS. COOK ON HIGH FOR 4 HOURS OR LOW FOR 6 HOURS.
SERVE WITH TORTILLAS AND DESIRED TOPPINGS.
