    2.5 cups cooked ham, diced
    3 stalks celery, sliced thin
    3 carrots, sliced thin
    4.5 cups fat free chicken broth
    1.5 cups water
    1 pound dried split peas
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper


Add all ingredients to 5-quart crockpot and cook on high for ~5 hours (or low 8-10 hours).

Makes 8 servings.

Use an immersion blender if desired to make soup creamier/thicker.
