    1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. Heinz Chili Sauce, divided
    2/3 C. plain dry bread crumbs
    Italian seasonings, to taste


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the egg and 1/4 cup of the chili sauce; add seasonings and bread crumbs. Combine well. Crumble ground meat over crumb mixture. Toss with a fork to combine. Finish mixing with hands; form into a loaf and place in a non-stick 8-inch pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.

Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven; remove foil and spread top with the remaining chili sauce. Return to the oven for 15 more minutes. Rest for 5 minutes and serve.

Divide into 8 servings.
