Introduction

This is my version of Chex Mix, I'm never a fan of the pretzels, Wheat Chex, or anything other then Corn Chex, Rice Chex, peanut's OR cashews.

I'm POSITIVE you can cut down the fat by using less butter OR light butter, but I'd rather have a 1/2 cup of the good stuff instead of a cup of the light version.

Feel free to portion it any way you want, I usually like to have between 1/2-1 cup serving...depends on how many calories you have left for the day. =)

Ingredients

    6 Cups Corn Chex Cereal
    6 Cups Rice Chex Cereal
    1/2 Cup Dry Roasted Peanuts
    1 stick Salted Butter
    2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    1 1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
    3/4 tsp Garlic Powder
    1/2 tsp Onion Powder

Directions

- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Put stick of butter in the pan and let it melt in the oven.
- Add in seasonings.
- Stir in Cereal, and nuts until coated
- Cook for 15 minutes, take out and stir, and repeat 3 more times.

Makes 12 1-cup servings!
