The best beef roast one ever tasted!! The best beef roast one ever tasted!!
Number of Servings: 1

3 to 4 lbs. boneless beef roast
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix (may be light)
    1 envelope brown gravy mix
1 envelope Italian dressing mex (may be light)
    1/2 c warm water

dash of black pepper - optional

Pour water into slow cooker.
Place roast in slow cooker.
Mix contents of all three envelopes together well, and sprinkle over roast.
Cover, cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours.

It litteraly falls apart. It is SO juicey and delicious.
When it's done, I take it our and let it set for about ten to fifteen minutes, then I slice it very thin, (like Arby's) and put it back in the slow cooker.
It's just as good as Arby's.

Number of Servings: 1

The only ingredient that was used in calculating the calories was black pepper. Very misleading. - 2/7/09

Actual nutrition info for this recipe for a 3oz piece of meat is somewhere around 250cals, 8g fat, 1000mg sodium (yes it is high because of the dressing mixes). Good recipe, but misleading nutrition info. People are using this in their nutrition log, and it is making their counts off. - 11/15/09

  • This was very, very salty for my family's taste. We ended up adding a lot of water and potatoes/veggies to try to soak up some of the salty flavor. We ended up throwing out quite a bit. Think all the packets of stuff just added too much salt. - 12/28/09
