Full of nutrients, this is my favorite way to start the morning. Full of nutrients, this is my favorite way to start the morning.
Number of Servings: 2


    1 Cup 5 Grain Hot Cereal, such as Old Wessex Ltd. brand
    1-3/4 cup water
    1 tbsp ground flax seed
    2 tbsp crushed walnuts
    2 tbsp currants
    1-1/2 tbsp Blue Agave syrup


Bring water to a boil. Add oatmeal, flax seed, walnuts and currants and cook at a low boil for 6 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat, add Blue Agave syrup and mix well. Let set for about 2 minutes prior to serving. tastes great with a 1/2 cup of skim milk!
