    1-1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
    4 medium red potatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs)
    1 medium onion, diced
    8 ounces carrots
    1.5 cups water
    Seasoning Salt to taste preference
    1 bay leaf ... not crumbled
    1/4 cup cold water
    2 tablespoons corn starch


Makes 6-8 servings.

Combine all ingredients except cold water and flour. Place in slow cooker. Set on low setting for 6-8 hours.

Approx 10 minutes before ready to serve, increase to high setting. Mix cold water and starch in a cup and gradually add to the stew. Let stew set on high for a few minutes in order for sauces to thicken.

Remove bay leaf. Serve.
