A light version of bruschetta with light cream cheese and veggies. A light version of bruschetta with light cream cheese and veggies.
Number of Servings: 4


    Cream Cheese, Fat Free, 4 oz
    French bread, sliced thin
    Basil - 1/2 - 1 tsp.
    Tomatoes - 1/2 c. chopped
    Green onion - 1/4 c. chopped
    Black olives - 1/2 c. chpped or sliced


Toast the sliced bread in the oven on both sides, being sure not to get too dark.

In the meantime, mix the cream cheese and basil and let sit on counter for a few minutes.

Spread the tops of the toasted bread with the cream cheese mixture. Broil in oven for a few minutes or until cheese starts to melt a bit, but don't get too brown.

Top with sliced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and sliced green onion.
