Ingredients

    1 cup barley
    1.5 cups red lentils
    2 lb carrots
    1 heart of celery
    3 small onions
    3 cloves garlic
    30 oz potatoes
    2 Tablespoons canola oil
    spices

Directions

dice all vegetables and sautee
add lentils, barley and diced potatoes
add water or vegetable stock to 12 quarts
add spices
simmer for 45 minutes
