Simple yet delicious red lentil soup. Simple yet delicious red lentil soup.
Number of Servings: 8


    2 cups dried red lentils
    4 cups chicken stock
    4 cups water
    1 small onion, diced
    8 baby carrots, sliced
    1 large stalk of celery, diced
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 tbs parsley, dried
    1 tsp thyme, fresh
    2 tsp seasoning salt
    1 tsp black pepper


Place all the ingredients in a large soup pot.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until the lentils and veggies are tender.
Makes 8 almost 1 1/2 cup servings.
