    Banyan Foods Hard Tofu, 2 oz

    Lightlife Organic Tempeh, Soy, 2 oz

    Scallions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped

    Kuner's Garbanzo Beans - No Salt Added, 1.75 cup (1 can), liquid reserved

    Gourmet Garden Lemongrass, 3 tsp

    Ginger Root, fresh, 3 tsp

    Low Sodium Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp

    Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 2 tspn

    Olive Oil, 4 1tsp


Process all ingredients (except olive oil & garbanzo liquid) together in food processor until chunky-ish but forming a paste. Add liquid a little at a time, just enough to help form the pastey texture.

Form into 4 patties (or smaller is desired) & sautee each in 1tspn olive oil over medium heat til heated through. I like to give them an extra minute or so on high heat each side to get extra crispness.

Makes 4 hearty patties.
