Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1 can niblet corn
    1 can tomato sauce, or stewed tomatos
    6 tsp of corn meal
    garlic salt (to taste)
    chili powder (to taste)
    1/2 cup mexican shredded cheese
    Olives, sliced if you wish

Directions

Brown ground beef in skillet and season with garlic salt to taste. When browned add corn, tomato sauce or stewed, including the liquids, chili powder and corn meal. You can also add olives if you wish. let that simmer for 20 min stirring occassionally. You may need to add a little water. You want it to thicken up like a tamale. when thickened, sprinkle cheese over the top cook on low heat til cheese melts. Serve with warm tortillas or just by itself. serves 6-8.
