Number of Servings: 12


    1 pound ground beef (we use extra lean)
    9 cooked lasagna noodles
    1-2 cups fresh mushrooms
    .5 cup fresh onion
    2 ounces red cooking wine
    spices to taste
    can also add other fresh veggies like green pepper, celery


Makes 12 3" by 3" servings
Boil noodles while cooking sauce.
Chop fresh veggies and saute along with ground beef, drain.
Add jar sauce, wine, and spices and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes to blend.
Alternate layers of sauce and noodles, adding the cheese between layers and finishing with a layer of cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
