Ingredients

    4 lg. Baking Potatoes
    1/4 C. melted Butter
    1/4 C Salad Oil
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1/2 tsp. dried Thyme leaves

Directions

Prehear oven to 400 degrees. Cut washed potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Place overlapping slices in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix oil and butter. Brush slices with mixture. Pour remaining over potatoes. Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and thyme. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Potatoes are done when browned at the edges. Serves 6.
