This is a red chili made with elk meat instead of beef! This is a red chili made with elk meat instead of beef!
Number of Servings: 16


    1 lb ground elk meat
    1 large onion
    3 stalks of celery
    3 cups cooked pinto beans
    3 cups cooked kidney beans
    3 1/2 cups diced canned tomatoes
    1 1/2 tbsp cumin ground
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 1/2 chili powder
    2 tbsp coriander (selantro)
    salt to taste
    4 cups water


Brown meat in pan . Added onion and celery to browned meat and cook until onions and celery are tender. Add spices and stir into mixture. Add tomatoes, beans, and water salt to taste. Simmer for 1 to 2 hrs.
Serving is equal to 3/4 cup
