No sugar in this corn bread, it's the straight up homestyle southern kind. No sugar in this corn bread, it's the straight up homestyle southern kind.

Ingredients

    3 eggs
    .5 cup oil
    1 cup 1% milk (buttermilk is better if you have it)
    2 cups white lily cornmeal mix

Directions

Preheat oven to 450. Pour 2 Tbs. oil in a cast iron skillet and place skillet in the oven while the oven preheats.

Beat eggs, then add milk and oil. Next mix in dry ingredients.

Pour batter in cast iron skillet. Bake on 450 for 15-20 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
