    Chicken stock, home-prepared, 4 cup (remove)
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 breast, bone and skin removed (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Salt, 0.5 tbsp (remove)
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled (remove)
    Egg Yolk, 2 large (remove)
    Lemon juice, 4 tbsp (remove)
    Parsley, dried, 2 tbsp (remove)
    *Brown Rice, medium grain, .66 cup (remove)
    **Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 3 tbsp (remove)


Simmer all ingredients minus egg yolk , lemon juice and parsley long and slow over medium heat. When soup is desired consistency, temper egg yolks and lemon and add to rest of soup - the result is a creamless creamy chicken soup packed with nutrients and very few calories. I like to enjoy a piping hot bowl ladled over 2 cups of fresh spinach - the spinach wilts and imparts a serving of vegetables and a lovely heartiness to the meal.

Serves approximately 6 generous bowls - more if you're eating it with spinach!
