These are really good but you can make them with different types of seasoning.
These are really good but you can make them with different types of seasoning.

Number of Servings: 16


    6 cups of wheat bread (about 8 slices)
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1 Tb Seasoned salt (more or less to taste)


1) Pre-heat oven to 350
2) Cut the bread into cubes the size you want them.
3) In a large bowl mix together oil and seasoning
4) Pour bread cubes into oil mix and toss to coat
5) Place in a single layer on a foil covered cookie sheet.
6) Place in the oven for 15-20 min stir once midway

* This will make soft croutons that melt in your mouth, if you like crunchy croutons try using less oil and bake a little longer.

    I added garlic powder, basil and oregano to make them a bit more flavorful. - 8/5/10
