Number of Servings: 1


    4 ounces Chicken Breast
    1 tsp Hoisen Sauce
    1 TBS soy sauce
    Non-Stick Spray to coat pan
    1 Clove Garlic
    1 Large Slice of onion cut in half
    5 Large Baby Carrots Jullienned
    1 Cup Broccoli
    2 Medium Mushrooms Sliced
    1/4 Cup Vegetable Stock
    1 tsp corn starch
    1 tsp water


Slice 4 ounces of Chicken breast into bite sized pieces. Add soy and hoisin sauces and let marinate for at least 10 minutes (I like to let it marinate longer)

- Spray frying pan with non-stick spray to cover the bottom of the pan. Add Garlic, Onion and Carrots and cook on medium heat for approx 10 minutes or until onions are translucent.
- Add in the chicken and keep stirring until chicken is browned.
- Once chicken is browned, add the vegetable broth, broccoli and mushrooms. Stir until the stock boils lower the heat and cover for 3 minutes.
- Mix the cornstarch and 1 tsp water together to form a smooth paste. Add this to the chicken and broccoli mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Once sauce is thickened, enjoy your meal.

One thing I like to do is serve this over brown rice. It takes away that craving for chinese food and it is very tasty to boot :)
