    1 lb ground beef
    1- 15oz can of crushed tomatoes
    1- 8oz can tomato sauce
    1 jar salsa
    1 can chili beans (or light red kidney)
    1 small packet or 3 T chili powder


1. Brown the ground beef and drain
2. Add the cans of crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili beans (not drained... unless you are using light red kidney) and stir.
3. Add the entire jar of salsa
4. Season with chili powder to taste. I use the small packs of McCormick. I like a lot of flavor. You may want to add more or cut back to suit your taste.
4. Bring to a boil and reduce hit to low. Let simmer for up to an hour. It is ready to eat after the boil... but the longer it has to simmer, the better.
