Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter
    1 1/2 cup sugar (or Sucanat)
    2 eggs
    1 cup freshly milled soft white wheat flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

Directions

Melt butter, add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Press into a greased 9:"x13" pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool, and cut into squares. Makes about 2 dozen.
